New video of the Johnny Cupcakes Coffin Tour featuring my music. It’s the first song and it’s entitled “Confusing Meadows”. My wife and I were actually at the tour stop in LA last week and got to hang out with Johnny, Lenard and the crew as well as buy some awesome shirts. Johnny and I go way back and his videos of the first tour were the first to feature my music. It was those videos 2 years ago that gave me the push to pursue my dream of being a Film Composer. ! We had some great talks last week about being creative and pursuing what you love and then Johnny introduced me to Boyce of s u f f o c a who is documenting the coffin tour. He is a great guy with a lot of talent and it was an honor meeting him. I am so honored to be a part of this video and I hope you enjoy it. I wouldn’t be anywhere if it weren’t for cool guys like Johnny and Boyce who support my music and I am grateful everyday for how lucky I am that I get to do what I love. I drum a lot and I always hear ideas for songs in my head while I’m playing so I had the notion of just recording what I’m improvising on the drum set and translate it into a new song. Here is the first song as a result of my improvisation. It’s called Part I (For Now) because the ending guitar progression is something I wrote many years ago and I’ve always wanted to write a concept album around this progression. So this is going to be maybe the first Part of the album or maybe not. Only time will tell. I hope you enjoy.
